Very enjoyable story. I was actually surprised how much I enjoyed it.

Normally I cannot finish a book if it is badly edited, but I enjoyed the story so much, I overlooked this and went with the flow so to speak, I found myself so drawn into the story, I didn't notice, or corrected mistakes in my head without even noticing any really.

A fun start to an Alien Romance Series with Mars Needs Women tropes. I like very much that the heroine has ties and her childern come first. The insta love is a little hard to take but this aspect of the story is made better with the supernatural elements.

The hero is sweet and the clash of culture engaging.

Lisa Miller is kidnapped from Earth by aliens. She’s distraught because her two young daughters have been left behind. One of the male aliens agrees to return with her to Earth to retrieve her children as long as she agrees to partner with him. He’s astounded to find Lisa’s two children are females since they’ve become rare in the Tornian Empire.

The plot and storytelling is great in this book while the characters are interesting and engrossing. This book would have been a five star read

I gave "Grim" three stars. This book could have easily received four stars had it had a whole lot more editing. I liked the characters and the plot, just too many typos. I'm hoping the next book will have more polish because, I would like to continue with this series. ...more
