This book was SO good! Ashwin (Gideon's Riders) is a spinoff to the O'Kanes! So, we're still in the O'Kane world. You'll even see little appearance's from some of the O'Kanes. I love Ashwin & Kora! Ashwin is a Makhai soldier. He's engineered to be ruthless, cold & emotionless. Kora is a doctor & is protected by the Rios family. Who also happens to be royalty & they consider Kora family. Good beginning to spin off of the beyond series. I forgot which one I stopped with but that didn't matter reading the book with Cruz, ace, and Rachel helps understand why they are in this book but not necessary. It is not as over the top with the kink as beyond series at least not yet. Can't wait to know Deacon and Gabriel's stories! Hmm also Maricela and possibly Del. Lots to look forward to. ...more
