Paranormal books are not my forte, but darn if I didn’t love this book. Charley reminds me of Stephanie Plum - if she were the grim reaper. Charley is constantly surrounded by the dearly departed who pass through her to the other side. She is “protected” by someone she calls the Big Bad, but the entity scares her.

I really enjoyed this book. It was funny, mysterious, sexy, charming, and kept me up till the wee hours of the night. I cannot wait to continue on this journey with the quirkiest Grim Reaper I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Oh and let’s not forget the incredibly sexy, and equally mystifying Reyes Farrow. *swoon* be still my beating heart. I think i read the last 10% of this book with my mouth hanging open!! Can’t wait for more Charley and Reyes time, Oh and Cookie, ubie, Angel and Garrett!

I found this book quite funny, and cannot wait for the next one!!
A murder mystery with a supernatural angle. Charley sees ghosts and is the Grim Reaper. She is a portal to the other side. She knows Reves Farrow shows up when bad things are happening around her but she does not know why.
I liked these characters. This is a good set-up for the series. It is a solid mystery. The world building is good with us learning as we need to know.
