June 2014 Doing a re-read(listen)of this series in order this time. I have listened to some and read paper backs of others but I'm going through this series all on audio this round. I really like this as the intro to the series. I like the characters and the story. The background on the Valkyrie helped smooth some questions I had with the next book. I think I had started at book 9, years ago and grabbed whatever I could find at books swaps and libraries. Even though it's not necessary to read it

I read this as part of the Playing Easy to Get Anthology. It is the first book in the Immortals After Dark series. It was the last book (but the longest) in the anthology book. It was the best of the 3 stories by far. Ms. Cole completely blew the headliner, Sherrilyn Kenyon out of the water with this book. I LOVED it! I have been waiting to read the Immortals After Dark series until I read this story and wow, now I can't wait to get into this series.

Well I have one word to describe this book "Raunchy" it's not unusual for me to get bored reading sex scenes and I've been known to skip them before but I didn't do that with this book, it was very well done, I look forward to reading A Hunger Like No Other very soon.
