Ok so I'm in the break room " making coffee" but really I'm just writing this book review. I just finished it an hour or so ago and it's fresh in my mind and driving me bug fuck crazy!! All my thoughts and feelings and such. I'm going to try to write this with out spoiling much but you have been warned. And here we go.

First off, KMM you are bloody brilliant I tell you!! You drive me bat shit crazy, push me to my limits on my KMM ledge and then hold me and hug me while making me all cozy with hot Ok so I'm in the break room " making coffee" but really I'm just writing this book review. First off, KMM you are bloody brilliant I tell you!! You drive me bat shit crazy, push me to my limits on my KMM ledge and then hold me and hug me while making me all cozy with hot coco. I have to break people down and discuss how I feel about them and what they make me scream and shout as I read.

Dani- girl you did it!! Not only did you save the day and kick ass while taking names, but you made me love you. I'm just going to say that you were not a fav for me during fever, but then again you are 14 and annoying as shit sometimes. But like I said 14 people that's what young teens do to you!! Well she also makes grown men randy and all horned up but ill get to that. Bravo, dani dear. Bravo.

Dancer- just what in gods name are you hiding? Kat saw something. And I know you got some more big brained tricked up your sleeve, geek boy! A cute geek boy at that. Now you are the best suited for dani at this time and age and I hope you continue to stay and support her. Who will she choose when she becomes " a wonderful women" well who the feck knows with her. But I have a feeling that your geek heart might get hurt and or broken by our snickers loven dani. Stay strong, KMM always has a plan and a backup gal. Trust

Ryo- what to say about you?? Well number one you are hot and a true bad ass! That being said thou, you said some pretty creep-tastic thing to dani and that was probably not very appropriate either. However, I'm a horned up 28 yea old women who ate up all your hot inappropriate sexual comments. Ooo I saw them and heard them loud and clear big guy! And for that I thank you. I need some sort of spice in my books and life after all!! But I do not and WILL not support anything concerning you and Jo! Nope don't like it and and won't back down from this. Dani, will never forgive you for the shit you put her though. Even if the whole Jo this is just to make her angry and jealous( yes jealous, I'm on to you...you beautiful powerful stud you. But you have pissed me off with the Jo thing and trying to cage, dani so be gone for now I'm done discussing you.. For now. Wise up in book 2 please and thank you.

Christian - aww my sweet highlander. I'm sorry you are becoming a UP, that hurts me because I just got done reading about all your uncles and hot damn a highlanders life for me! I hope they can sort you out and get you back to your hot Druided highlander ways baby face! But you wear UP death by sex fae real well. God to have a man with your hotness and stamina.. * fans self* but the killing of said sex? yeah that kind makes me step back and watch and wait till they sort you out my friend. But now who knows if there will be anything of you left to sort out. You stupid, selfless, UP who's got a bad case of the " love bug for a 14year old" man! But I know why you did it and you are beautiful and amazing for it. Stupid but amazing. Sigh.

The crimson hag- Die you ugly scary motherfecker!! Oh and give Christian back. Gah, gross!

Kat- thank you for getting your head out of your ass and getting your shit together! Cruse don't love none of you see-sheep! Baaaa and wiggle your sheep ass and go get your true soul mate before some Chester club skank take him from you! And Sean you are a dick if what Ryo says is true and you were able to leave but still haven't! Men!!

Jo- oh you stupid stupid in love girl. Wake up and smell the fae sweetheart, he don't love you! You are a means to an end. You will never be who and what he truly wants! I know at harsh but someone's got to level with you, and you won't listen to dani so, wise up hot toddy! He has waiting for dani for YEARS!!

Mac and Barrons- well I hope you guys were at least fregging the entire time you were not in this book!! Yeah I know we got to hear about them an see them from a far, oooo how awesome... Not! Ok, yeah it was good to hear about them, but still. And then we finally get some Mac attention and BAM... Ending!! Now I'm clawing the walls wondering what the feck is gonna happen in book 2 of dani's story!!

Well thanks for letting me rant and rave about my feelings. In all honesty this book was awesome. Fan- fecking- tastic!! I can not wait to get my claws into the next book! When is it coming out?!! Ahh!! Oh and I'd like to send a shout out to my reading buddies- I heart reading with you boo bears!! Onward to our next adventure, smut- ateers, onward!m ...more

I still love KMM, this series, and I love seeing and experiencing Dani being highlighted. I didn't remember how much I also enjoyed seeing Ryodan and Lor more as well as seeing the changes that Christian has to go through. Plus, seeing the beginnings of Kat coming into her own, and the mind tricks Cruce is playing with anyone he thinks he can manipulate.

Then that ending. I can't wait to continue on with the next book.

I have been a fan of Karen Marie Moning's for a while. I can even say that she is my favorite author. She is one of the amazing writers in the genre's that she has written in. I am glad to say that she didn't disappoint with this story either.

I have long since loved Dani and I am glad that she is getting some feature time. Don't get me wrong I love Mac, but is always nice to get someone else's perspective. Yes, we got a little bit of Dani's point of view while Mac was Priya, but this is even more amazing.

I was afraid of how this would turn out at first, mainly because of Dani's biological age. Well, there was no need for that, because we all know you biological age has nothing to do with how old your are mentally. This girl had to grow up in all the ways that matter really fast. Yes, we still see parts of her still being a teenager, especially when it comes to things like sex, but it all blends very well into her story.

I like the fact that we not only get Dani's POV, but others also(I will let that be surprise to you who haven't read it yet).

This book just has more. More hot guys, especially Ryodan, Christian, a little bit of Lor and Cruce, and (newbie) Dancer. More unseelie, yeah there are some new breeds to worry about. More action, more drama, more laugh out loud moments.

I am conflicted on who Dani should be with(if KMM is planning on going that route) and what everyone's motivations are. I am looking forward to finding out though.

I am in love all over again. I only wish I didn't have to wait so long for the next book. That's the reason why I don't read the books until months after I buy them, so I don't have to wait so long. Plus, I like to reread the series every year.

If you haven't go buy it, borrow it, or check it out at the library. You will not be disappointed. ...more

After reading Shadowfever I, like many others, thought, "Is this really the end to the series?"

For a couple of months, we held on to hope that Karen Marie Moning would just take a couple of years off and then give us a new chapter in this beloved series. That was not the case…

I love the world KMM has crafted. I've followed the creation of the Fever World in it's creation in the Highlander series to Mac, and It's been the biggest roller coaster I've ever been on. This was more of the same intense emotional ride as the other books since the walls fell. I bought this book on release day in Oct. but with all the comments from so many I just held on and couldn't pick it up. Love Love Love Dani! This book was A-Ma-Zing! I thought I would miss Barrons and Mac... but I had no time! This book was fast paced and exciting with a mystery to solve and some misunderstood characters to really get to know. I can not wait for the next in the series!
