What a surprise this book was. I did not see this story coming and had a fixed idea what I was going to be reading but this turned out much more than that.
This is one of the best books I have read from Kennedy Ryan. It was so well written, a thrilling, hurtful, jaw clenching, tearful book.
I took my time to read it, slowly, appreciating all that was going on. It had my adrenaline running overtime.
Such a good read. Kennedy Ryan surpassed herself with this one.

Obviously, I liked this story. Iris was doing everything in her power not to end up like her mother and aunt, only to be manipulated into exactly that type of situation, if not worse. (view spoiler)
