****SPOILERS AHEAD****
So I want to start by saying hats off to Kate Stewart and Heather Orgeron for this story. It is unique, well written, powerful and emotional. It will tear you up in so many directions and you will have a massive book hangover after the final page closes but it may also leave you with a massive conflict about the female character and the choices she ultimately made as a Mother and a wife and soldier.
Also a big thank you for the early release date. Great surprise.

I honestly just didn't like Katy. I hate what she went through, both she and Chris (Briggs), but there was nothing about her even before their ordeal that I found appealing.
I don't know what either man felt for her, even though you can clearly see that for whatever reasons they both did. I got it more with Gavin due to the flashbacks, but I didn't get it with Chris.
