A great conclususion to this series. We go deep into the psyche of Hudson Pierce and see how and why he became the cold and calculating man we meet in the fixed series. The book goes back and forth between Hudson's past, before he meets Alayna, and after he meets her. The before is focused on his family life and his past encounters with Celia.
