It's a given that I'll basically love anything Sarah Maclean writes, but gosh, did I need this read! It was entertaining as heck, enticing, and just really endearing overall. I started The Rogue Not Taken, swearing I would only read a few chapters. Just over two hours later, I found myself way past my bedtime, dreading work the next time, as I finished the last page. The Rogue Not Taken was an awesome read that you absolutely need.

This is book one in the "Scandal & Scoundrel " series. Sarah MacLean is one of my favorite authors. I just loved her books and this one did not disappoint at all! Sophie Talbot in her younger years was just the youngest daughter and loved life. Sophie Talbot | Kingscote, Marquess of Eversley

Not my favorite book by Sarah MacLean, however, I did like that Sophie wasn't conforming to the status quo. As much as they mentioned the Talbot sisters' reputations with that hideous nickname for them, I was expecting them to be more scandalous. These women haven't done any more than other women have done in books like these and probably in real life back then as well.
