Love it

Aleatha you did it again. Got me hooked on another start to what will be a great series.

Kadar and Laurel are very different but have an unimaginable pull to each other. Laurel is a bit naive and only thinks of the good not the bad. Kadar is hired to do a job that morphs into more than he expected.

This story had me hooked from the start. It felt like a really steamy romantic suspense more than a romance novel, and I think that's why I liked it so much. The plot is slowly unfolding and we are just starting to get a feel for the characters. Kader is a mystery to me. I can't tell if he's the good guy or the bad guy. And with Laurel, I think she might just be in over her head. Some of her choices were definitely questionable, but resistance is futile when it comes to Aleatha's men. Twisted is ...more
