Now I know that it was only a fantasy. I’ll never be one of them. I’ll always be just a secondborn, a shadow, soon to fade from their lives.

Very good and entertaining. I do see many similarities between Roselle and Kricket, and some of the situations were pretty ... not real. I mean, not really not real, but honestly? Like a 18 year old sheltered girl would fall in love in a day? Ummm, maybe it happens. However, if it were my child, she’d get an ear full. BUT it was very entertaining and makes me want to get into the next book. Like now. Fun read for anyone that’s looking for something with some action.

I was absolutely gripped by this from start to finish. I loved Ms Bartol's Kricket series, and I think this may rival it. So good. Can't wait to start the next book.
