I first read this as a novella from the Team Player Anthology 2.

Dear Ava gave me an oversight of what's to come when the book released in 2020.

There are a lot of "bully" college stories about and I tend to avoid them like the plague due to the drama they emit, but what I loved about this one is that we have a feisty FC who has the balls to stand tall and fight back when she faced with going back to school after a serious sexual assault.

Ilsa Madden-Mills does not write the kind of books where you can read one and be done. You're never ready for the book to end and you are always going to be left deeply satisfied. But still so so so hungry for more. I absolutely loved Dear Ava. It's an amazingly spectacular sports romance packed with deep emotion, lots of angst and such beautifully written characters. OMG where to begin with this review...... I absolutely loved this story! Right from page one till the end I could not put this book down. I love how this story fell into place.
