Here is the thing, if you love this series you can't not read this book.

People hate it because there are two love stories running neck and neck in this book (three if you count the love between the brothers) and only one of them gets an Happily Ever After.

Turns out, because there are two romances, I am okay with that. This is weird because I hate angst in romance and really get angry at cliffhangers and Happy for Nows, and not happys.

Please don't get me wrong, this book is still definitely worth reading although I only gave it 3 stars. The reason being that I hold J.R. Ward to a higher standard that I do most authors. I absolutely love the Black Dagger Brotherhood series, and I will read every one of them that she puts out. This book was a hard one to
Put down so many storylines were explored and the depth of the characters I thought I knew I found there was more to learn. The love story that unfolded was bittersweet. I was so surprised at depth I got connected to Trez and his Queen. The loyalty these characters possess is like no other. I can't wait to see where I am and his
