I'll admit, novellas do nothing for me, but I love Melody and Jaime's story! It's hot and intense, and there's hope for these two yet. Melody is Jaime's teacher and, of course, their romantic relationship is forbidden. But, I couldn't wait to see how this played out. This short story was about Melody Greene in the Sinners universe. It has a forbidden teacher with student relationship that develops. Totally worth the listen to understand more about her background and thoughts.

I believe that I was spoiled by Vicious and this one didn't hold up to the way the story was. I liked Jamie better as a person though. Mainly because he was forthright with his feelings for Mel.

Usually the a*holes bother me until they show a gentler side, but Mel actually annoyed me due to her lack of even trying to be a good teacher and her constant reminders that he was her student. I know, duh.

The town they live in as a whole is full of a*holes though, so it's no surprise that these over-pri ...more
