I have to say that Dominic Knight is everything Christian Grey wishes he could be. When I read an erotica book for the first time years ago it written by Susan Johnson, and I have loved her work ever since. Now that I look back I realize that since I started reading ebooks I haven't read anything written by her so as soon as I say my dear friend Wendy reading and raving about this book I just had to read it.

I liked it but didn't love it. The alternating perspectives between every character in almost every paragraph made me a little crazy. I also saw what was going to happen coming a mile away. I was a little shocked at Max going from being protective of Kate to, basically throwing her under the bus in order to get business back on track.
I didn't love it as much as everyone else obviously, and maybe because my expectations were so high. I will continue reading the next book in th ...more

What can I say, you would know this is Susan Johnson even if you didn't know who C.C. Gibbs was. Classic SJ hero. She writes the best playboys. No one can out due her rakes and bad boys. I myself are a little bias towards her historical written books, especially her older ones. This one is for a true contemporary fan, but who can pass up a handsome billionaire who like showering you with gifts??
