Absolute masterpiece. Few books have had a bigger impact in my professional career. A book to revisit from time to time as well
A must read for every data or backend engineer to learn about the differences between data storage systems and processing data. Provides a good overview of all the techniques available but also going into more details.
The best engineering theory book I've ever read. The author has profound technical skills and rich humanistic feelings.
