Found this recommendation on Goodreads. Very impressive debut novel--much better than some other seasoned authors that I am currently reading. It was heart-wrenching, yet strangely uplifting. As a parent, I was almost afraid to read it, but quite glad I did. Once I got over the darkness of the topic, the death of a young girls, I found this story to be compelling and absolutely breath-taking. Once I started reading this book I was completely captivated from beginning to end and I didn't want to put it down until I finished it. It was well written and I liked that I was able to visualize each scene, person, & place in my head as I was reading it. This would make a great movie! I definitely recommend this book for other thriller suspense readers.
