What Members Thought
Fantastic work depicting Sherman's March through the Carolinas and GA; this wonderfully told historical fiction piece helped to fulfill a dream of mine: I've often fallen asleep imagining an ability to go back in time, and invisibly be present to witness historic events. Doctorow gave me that luxury with this book. I saw this part of the Civil War by witnessing, first hand, with my myriad of hosts and perspectives. Loved it.
