So this was...okay?
I enjoyed the story most of the time and the characters as well. I even got pleasantly surprised by most of the revelations and the ending.
I feel like we actually got to see Eadlyn grow and improve as a person and I liked that.
On the other hand, the rest of the characters...
Sadly, I liked the boys, but I never got to fall for any of them. Not even Erik. The romance felt rushed and superficial. Eadlyn barely had any contact with him in The Heir ...more

2.5 en realidad. Este final de saga no me logro convencer. El final sobre todo, creo que el romance no se desarrollo del todo y las decisiones que tomaba la protagonista no tenían fundamento.
Sin duda me quedo con la trilogía ya que las dos continuaciones no estuvieron a la altura.

I find it interesting that I couldn't stand The Selection or The Heir, but the later books about the respective girls were absolutely amazing. Again, I need to thank Amanda Westphal and the feminist community on instagram for encouraging me to stay with the series when I found the character and plot hard to stick with.

This wasn't my favorite out of all the selection books but I still immensely enjoyed it. I'm sad that I'm done with this world and series. In all honesty I wasn't ready to let go of the world and the characters.
