I did a reread in preparation of reading The Hand on the Wall. I wanted to get a refresher and see if my feelings changed at all on Truly Devious. And I’m happy to say they did not! pd: estoy enamorada de David, aun teniendo sospechas de él, aun pensando que podía ser un asesino, no se que paso pero me termine enamorando de él. Maldita sea.

despues de un año entendi que estoy enamorada de David porque tiene la misma personalidad que yo, por suerte la menos egocentrica

When you go on Goodreads and you look up "YA Mystery/Crime" you tend to see this book pop up everywhere. I've seen reviews that either loved or hated the book. Some even were in the middle and on the fence. Me, I expected myself to really enjoy Truly Devious even my gut feeling was saying so. My gut feeling is usually never wrong when it comes to books and I was pretty sure (before starting) that I'll be giving it a 4 stars. It seemed to have everything I co ...more

I do not read a ton of mysteries, but when I saw that Maureen Johnson was writing a new series, I knew this was a must read for me. All I have to say is, Johnson may make a mystery reader out of me yet, because I was utterly engrossed in this story from start to finish.
•Pro: What more can you ask for then a twofer? Johnson has two mysteries in this story, one in the present and one in the past.

Ahhh what!! This book. Wow. I love a good murder mystery and a love a good YA book and this was just everything. I loved it. I beyond loved it! It had the mystery and the intrigue from the get go, right from page one I was hooked. This. Book. Was. Done. So. Well.

This was so fun! I really love Stevie and the whole book. Also PLOT TWIST at the end!!! #nospoilersthough But guys the second book is calling to meee. And I have a soft spot for David. I'm not sure if I like how it's written but it was enthralling and fun so thumbs up from me.
