I loved this.At the beginning I thought it was going to be a kinda dense since Alessandra was such a brat but it actually wasn't.Alessandra had an amazing character development andTHE TENSION WAS EVERYTHING!

ALSO I was stupid enough to think Leandros was actually good.I feel ashamed.

All in all it was a quick and fun read with a lot of twists and I loved it!! ...more

I finally understand this Slytherin romance everyone was on about.

At first I was not sure I was going to enjoy this read. I tried it once and gave up thinking it was not my cup of tea. I picked up again after a while and decided to really give it a chance and I am glad that I did.

Alessandra is a very unique character. She is strong, in “Waiting. Not waiting. One lover. A hundred lovers. There should be no judgement either way. A woman is not defined by what she does or doesn‘t do in the bedroom.”

At first I was not sure I was going to enjoy this read. I tried it once and gave up thinking it was not my cup of tea. I picked up again after a while and decided to really give it a chance and I am glad that I did.

Alessandra is a very unique character. She is strong, independent, fierce, scheming and ambitious. She stands for what she thinks is right, by her decision and most of all, I loved how she stands by and defends woman`s rights. She did not accept people looking down on her for being a woman and taking her choices away. I was relieved that I did not have to be frustrated with her decisions or indecisions about things just like it has been common for most characters in books lately.

Kallias was a great character as well. I feel like I could relate to both him and Alessandra on many things. They were both lonely and no one saw that, and yet they had that understanding with each other. Although, maybe because we only had one point of view throughout the book I felt like the author could have explored Kallias a little more and also I was hoping for a scene where Kallias would attack someone with his shadows, I just think it would have been awesome to see his powers working that way.

The mysterious atmosphere of the book was a great one and I did not see that revelation coming. I loved most things in general and I am very happy with this book.

At last, I was really hoping for an epilogue of some sort. It was great that everything worked out in the end, but I would have loved to have seen a bit more of that, after all they did hurt each other and there wasn`t a lot of healing for us to read about and enjoy some calm and romantic times between the two characters.

What a letdown!

Not gonna lie, the opening line had gotten my hopes up which shattered soon enough. I hated the MC right off the bat. I didn't feel the connection with other characters either. The story was ordinary and predictable. Apart from the romance, it was a terrible waste of time. As i didn't enjoy this book, i won't be reading its sequel. ...more

I read this book from front to back in only 4 hours, and I loved it. It was a very fun read, I had a smile on my face during the whole thing.

Reading the premise this book could appear pretty dark, but honestly, it’s just sweet. Yes, people die, but it does not have any real impact on how charming this book is. It is mostly a love story, and it has some intrigue to accompany it, but it doesn’t take the center place. The story is not particularly complex, and that’s probably why it’s so ...more
