There is always danger in reading a book about which you've heard a lot. Not if people say it's just okay, I guess, but if they tell you it was amazing and completely changed their lives...BEWARE. I'm left... confused.
Thus was read as part of PopSugar 2019 reading challenge prompt 5: a book with over 1M reviews on GoodReads.
Why so many reviews though?! I mean, the book is not rubbish, or maybe it just went over my head or something, but I don't understand the fuss. Oort of felt like I was waiting for an overarching plot that just never happened.
And what was with the curveball at the end!? That really came out of no where. It didn't tidy up loose ends, or offer any kind of a-ha! moment. ...more
