Goodness gracious, you get an awful lot of story for your money, though perhaps too much for just one book. The Palace Job is the tale of a rag-tag band of crack thieves (including a horny shapeshifting unicorn, don't groan. it's not a pun), and their not so simple robbery.
Great characters, lots of action, and there's a plot and a half packed in the pages. If you like roguish antics and high fantasy that doesn't take itself too seriously you could certainly do a lot worse. ...more
