So, so good. I've been reading it in huge chunks, usually with Kait curled up next to me, napping. Wyatt had to make me stop and go to sleep at 5 am this morning - that inhaling of a book hasn't been something I've done in ages.

The intertwining of the characters, the use of Shakespeare and Star Trek to drive it all home, the fascinating descriptions of the Station Eleven story, the description of Toronto falling to the flu. So good.

This book was really well-written and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately, as does happen with books that have multiple intertwining plots, I found that I liked some of the plot-lines more than others, which made for entire portions of the book that I had a lot of trouble staying invested in.

Absolutely loved this. A richly drawn post-apocalyptic world, a plot that spans decades yet never loses touch with the strands that hold them together. Characters full of depth and warmth. A poetic, thought-provoking page-turner.
