This was a great read. I'm surprised that it was written in 2015 (I think) as the issues in it are salient to TODAY. The performance enhancing products are fascinating as is the cyberstuff. Ironically, my hybrid car is having issues this month, and reading this book makes me consider a used conventional car.

PW Singers grasp of technology and military future is truly striking. His novel is an excellent glimpse into the next major war for America. His footnotes, unusual for a novel, illustrate clearly how his fiction is based on current innovations - a grounded conjecture. A lack of significant character depth or development is gracefully excused by the personification of the drones, robots, space ships and satellites themselves.
