What Members Thought
Takes a minute to get into the cadence of the storytelling, but once it settles -- wow, what a rich, poetic piece of literature.
What a stunning book. Beautifully written and full of human emotion, an encapsulation of a family. How through generations, as many things morph into something new as many stay the same.
The story and writing is fantastic, but the audiobook is particularly well done.
I hate teenaged narrators, so I was not predisposed to like this book. I like the multiple perspectives and historical context, though.
