What Members Thought
I wanted to like it more but I couldn't really differentiate between a lot of the characters so rather than a tapestry of Soviet life it felt like some random people. Still, she's a great writer of sentences and has tons of details in here that are important and will actually be destroyed by the totalitarian regime that is happily humming along in Russia.

Not the greatest audiobook.
But one of the scariest books I have read in awhile.

Not sure why this book made its way onto my to-read list. The topic is something I wouldn't normally be interested in. I tried listening to the audiobook thinking it would be easier to understand if I heard the various names spoken but it just didn't grab my attention.
