At times I wished I had never started it because there were parts that were really difficult to get through, but I couldn't put it down. All in all, worth the read.

[2.5 stars] Whoever wrote the description for this book deserves a raise, because reading that from top to bottom was a lot more fulfilling than finishing the actual book.
There was actually quite a bit I liked about "Vampires:"
- Hendrix nailed a perfectly nostalgic premise.
- The cast of characters could best be described as "Designing Women" meets "Candyman, " which was a mash-up I didn't realize I needed.
- The final reveal was a somewhat fresh take on the vampire genre.
- There was true emotion ...more
