Magpie Murders (the first one in this "series', but they both stand alone) is one of my favorite murder mysteries of all time, but I may have liked Moonflower even better. It was a joy to read from start to finish. The strength of these books are the plot, not the characters, but I did connect with Susan more this time and I liked that she was a little more filled out as a character.
