Appeal Factors: Intricately Plotted, witty, novels within novels, high drama.
Magpie Murders (the first one in this "series', but they both stand alone) is one of my favorite murder mysteries of all time, but I may have liked Moonflower even better. This mystery is filled with surprises and red herrings and kept me guessing until the very end.
