Appeal Factors: Intricately Plotted, witty, novels within novels, high drama.
Magpie Murders (the first one in this "series', but they both stand alone) is one of my favorite murder mysteries of all time, but I may have liked Moonflower even better. It was a joy to read from start to finish.
