This book took me a while to get into. Then, it went on sale on Audible for $1.95, so I tried listening rather than reading and it was perfect. (It is a book club book, otherwise, I might not have tried the Audible version). The Narrator made the book. His voice was just like it should have been for the main character. Upcoming Tom Hanks movie
A short, interesting book. I never knew about traveling the west reading the news to others. I also never knew how greatly captives of Native Americans were affected, and maintained their Indian ways, even when living with the tribes for less than a year.
