I probably wouldn't have read this book but it was picked for book club. It is not easy to read, go slow, because there are 4 generations of names, skips in time, chapters by varying characters, and lots of unfamiliar though real Mideastern locations in this novel. I’ve recommended several Gold Nuggets since we’ve started Staff Recommendations, and here’s another!
