Wow. The title of this book is a VERY accurate title.
I've never read anything like it before. The author makes us face real-world truths while presenting a story that makes us wonder if what we are reading is imagined or really happening.
Key point: The characters of the Author in the book and The Kid he talks to throughout the book never give their names. They could be anyone we may know.
I'll be carrying this one around in my head for a long time.

I honestly don't know how to describe this book. It is best if you just read it. It is a powerful depiction of what it means to be a Black man in America.
