What Members Thought
A fun, quick read. Suspension of disbelief is required in some aspects, but that didn’t stop me from enjoying it. I saw a lot of comparisons between this and Weyward and I think this executed it better. Excited to read her next one.

This was fine. It’s not earth-shatteringly good, and it’s not bad. It’s fine. A little predictable. But an enjoyable read.
3.5 stars. I could have done without the present day storyline. But really loved the apothecary and her story!
I like the 18th century man killer narrators much better than the trite 21st century lady.
