What Members Thought

Though billed as a novel, this is practically an autobiography of author Oscar Hokeah. The edition I read had a family tree in the front that was very helpful, and also Chapter titles that included the year and who the narrator for the chapter is, also very helpful. I did not look up all the Kiowa and Cherokee words, as the context often made them clear, but frequency of their use without glassary could make meaning difficult for some readers.
