I think this is the most heartbreaking book I’ve read all year. I enjoyed it and I will definitely check out her other books but, this one broke my heart literally. Alice started out as a professor at Harvard and the little things and as she is going through everything and the way that the kids step up towards the end to take care of her is amazing.
