Honestly, this one deserves 5 stars for the message alone. The storyline of a gay teen who hasn't come out yet for fear of his preacher father's views on the matter, is a story that needs telling more often. This is a book that every single parent should read, regardless of their child's sexual orientation. We should all do a better job of just loving, regardless of people's differences, and this book is a phenomenal reminder of that.

A real tear-jerker. AKA - Get your kleenex ready.
The story of Micah was an engaging, the characters were likable, and while I hated the things that were happening, it was a tale that needs to be told more often.
Also, kudos to the author, because it didn't end how I thought it would. ...more
