First of all, although I promised to read and review this for another thread I bought a copy from Amazon. i.e. This was not an ARC
If the rating system allowed, I would give this a 3.5 because 3 seems a little harsh and yet I can't bring myself to make it 4.
This is a short story, which is generally not my thing, especially to start a series, but I went into it with an open mind and there was much to enjoy here. I love female protagonists and was not disappointed by either Opal or Joan. The idea t ...more
