This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. Wow!...Okay, now this was quite the intriguing story. Not perfect, but not bad either. Here are the finer points, and if applicable, a popular form of media I'll compare them to...

1: The aliens (The Kifcans)-They sound pretty neat, but if they're capable of interstellar-travel, then surely their ships would be at least somewhat larger and faster to, no?
2: The distance between the planets (124-ish light-years apart)-On page 136, a President Arra says: "They have found a planet in another galaxy." Wow!...Okay, now this was quite the intriguing story. Not perfect, but not bad either. Here are the finer points, and if applicable, a popular form of media I'll compare them to...

1: The aliens (The Kifcans)-They sound pretty neat, but if they're capable of interstellar-travel, then surely their ships would be at least somewhat larger and faster to, no?
2: The distance between the planets (124-ish light-years apart)-On page 136, a President Arra says: "They have found a planet in another galaxy." <----I'm sorry, Tony, but our humble galaxy (The Milky Way) is 105,700 light years in diameter. The planet Kifca could not possibly be so far away as to be classified as being in another galaxy. Another solar system though? But, of course!
3: Radios and other forms of communication-This one actually had me laughing at some points, in addition to being confused, because...A: What kinds of radios could Mary and Eason possibly have on their helmets? B: Why all the 'squawking' over the radios? I thought this only applied to transponders. C: A C.B. Radio which can squawk by itself!? Cool brew!! How can I buy one?
4: The food...Gormet MRE's anyone!?-It's a darn good thing I know the term MRE stands for Meal, Ready to Eat. It's basically a military ration. But why these are being offered as a staple-food to almost everyone at the 'camp' where the alien ship is/was, and in other places to is beyond me. o_o They could have been offered virtually any drink and/or food item besides MRE's.
5: Battle. Battle! BATTLE!! Oh, and death. Yesh, there will be some death.-There is one notable 'fight-scene' in this novel, which by the way, reads more like a B-movie script than an actual book (Being told in present-tense, and all). In this scene, two men, Rick and Robert see a smoking plane falling from the sky. One of the men tells the other to rush to their makeshift armory. They do this and somehow manage to quickly assemble AR's (Assault-Rifles) with ammunition and all. Then, they set up a number of make-shift barriers, all before the flaming-plane somehow manages to land without exploding!? Then, some Chinese soldiers not only manage to escape their pretty much wrecked plane unscathed, but also use the smoke billowing from it as temporary cover!? Then, even more unbelievably, Rick and Robert manage to somehow single-handedly defeat this 'small squad' without even sustaining one single injury!? Are they all members of Pseudonymous Bosch's Midnight Sun and/or Terces Society from The Secret Series!? Or are they White/Black Zetsu Clones from Naruto, who can perform super-human feats like those I noted above!? Geez-Louise!! O_O

Bonus!-The Red Virus...Ya know, the one responsible for the untimely deaths of some quote: 'millions of people'...And probably animals too. Gee, Tony! Why does this remind me so much of Star Trek: Discovery? Oh yeah!! The Red Angel, remember silly billy goat!? Of all the names you could have given this illness...You go for 'red virus'? I'm sorry to quote Fred Weasley but: "With the whole wide world of ear-related humour, you go for 'I'm holey'. Pathetic."

Apart from this (Along with all the spelling and grammar errors), plus the somewhat confusing and consistent use of acronyms and people speaking in foreign languages (Often without being translated), I like to think this book is the start of something cool.

As Time Narrows is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi adventure with a very unique story. The Earth is dying and the population has dwindled to 200 thousand because of war, disease and environmental damage. The story begins with the detection of a strange object approaching earth. Could this be a signal of hope or of final destruction?
