Humans and history – so many countless & voluminous moving parts. I love the reality to read about some many accounts of the human experience & be always prepared to discover new facts yet still seeing the “invisible thread” that links all humans and events to the similar fate. As with the new common trend (as so said by historians) this book tells ‘particular history’ from the “losers”, not winners, perspective.

It really challenges your thinking on what it means to be a human. I loved every examination of our society. The only negative was in the final two chapters which felt like a thought project and was open to a lot of interpretation (maybe I was too sleepy and should re-read).
Definitely a great read for all!
