Well, here we are. After being an army, I started reading more 'mainstream' books. Hayyy, RM. Kung hindi lang kita mahal e. Hahaha!
Anyway, this was actually pretty good. Not bad.
It's not hard to imagine of your life, if parallel universes really do exist. But I like the takeaway, the perspective that there are other parallel lives that also exist, where you make different choices, live differently, happier, sadder, etc. I don't know if it does the same for others, but for me, it makes me feel t ...more

Reading the book was like watching a warm fuzzy hallmark christmas movie, one-third in and you know how it's going to end -- so you may want to skip this if being surprised is high on your list.
Even thought at places it was a bit corny, I did enjoy the book a lot, it took these big heavy concepts from existentialism and made them simple and accessible in a story. Like, knowing even small actions matter, and with each small action you create a whole different world. And who inhabits those worlds ...more

This book is amazing! I can’t totally see why it got the recognition that it did. The Midnight Library is so comforting and wholesome and it’s the literature equivalent to an umbrella in a downpour and warm clothes after cold winter. It’s everything good and comforting and reading it made my heart warm. It’s brilliantly written and inspiring. It’s really one of those books that enables you to live your best life.
