This is a very thought-provoking and honest book about the author's life as a queer muslim person. And just for the boundaries she overcomes to speak in such a candid manner about her life, I'd give her full five stars. But the fact of the matter is, it's not well written. There were times where the narrative felt disjointed or rushed, which made it harder to read for me.
