For the time period (late 1960's) this book was pretty incredible for several reasons: woman sci-fi /fantasy writer being quite extraordinary.
The story holds up over the years and I definitely see a straight path to Harry Potter! I just wish that the book/story was a bit more complicated but I understand that it was meant for a different age group (at a different time) and I will probably continue with the series. ...more
