How could I have ever been ashamed of loving Dante Quintana?

This book, guys. THIS BOOK. I can't express how much I loved it, I'm pretty sure no mundane language has the words to describe something this beautiful. I've been crying happy tears and grinning like an idiot ever since I finished this book and my family's been looking at me like I am a weirdo (which, to be fair, I am). "How could I have ever been ashamed of loving Dante Quintana?" Well Ari, I think we are all asking ourselves that same question... The love and connection between these two boys, from a platonic and romantic standpoint is absolutely beautiful. The themes and issues are so well taken care of, so intrinsic to the novel. Definitely a tear-jerking novel of two boys just trying to find out who they are and where they belong, one that would have even the hardest of people shedding tears. I cannot wait ...more
