This was a light, pleasant read, with an interesting mystery. I enjoyed the author's descriptions of the San Juan Islands. They put you right in the story. The romance seemed to be rushed, where I like a slow burn. The relationship between Clinton and Ruby could have been more fully developed. A nice beach read with local flavor--and I really wanted to know what happened to Vanessa's father.
