I have been looking forward to reading this series after I read Kellison’s novella Shadow Touch. I was intrigued by the dark and original world she had created, and I found her writing voice captivating. This is an Urban Fantasy with a touch of tragic fairy tale love. Erin Kellison's Shadowbound was written unlike anything I have read! The opening chapter was pure poetry. The plot, one that I've never encountered elsewhere. The feelings & human emotion assessed, enough to make you think twice about things in your own life. The ending was unbelievable, and I can't start book 2 fast enough to find out what happens next...
