I read these books growing up, and wanting a nostalgic adventure on my summer reading list, I decided to start the series over. I can honestly say I'm not disappointed with the first book of the series (in chronological order). Some of the Redwall books are better than others, but Lord Brocktree deserves 4 out of 5 stars from me. It definitely took me back to my childhood.
