What Members Thought
This was a curiosity, I was taken in by the story as it had a theme I'm very familiar with having worked in arcades in my youth. The claw machine experience is for the most part exactly as described as it's always that one elusive item that vacuums your cash. The characterization is spot on and for the most part the situations are believable yet I feel somewhat let down by the ending, this is possibly because I expected a lot more given the significant early promise. This reminded me so much of when I worked at a holiday park and got addicted to the grabber machines in the arcade. Baldwin's characters are so life-like - he's really up there in the author rankings for me for this particular writing skill. Even when they're dicks, they're relatable in the funniest ways. This story is dark, funny, and just an absolute hoot in general!
