I've read a couple of this author's books recently, The Weekend Cottage, and Cream of Revenge Soup, neither of them did much for me. Justice for Jimmy, although in my opinion the strongest of the three where the overall writing is concerned still left something to be desired. It's a largely character driven revenge story in which the characterisation is quite strong but the plot is fairly routine.
