After Ever After is a book about a boy. A boy named Jeffery who fought cancer long ago. All he wants was to be treated like a normal boy, and to get his brother back to help him do that. But his best friend who is also a cancer survivor gets caught with it again, and now he has many worries. So Jeffery, Lindsey, and Tad all help eachother out. After Ever After, a book about friendship, love, and honesty.
Jeffery Alpher is a cancer survivor and is in the middle of eighth grade. One day a note gets sent home to everyones parents saying that every fifth, eighth and ninth grader has to take a exams on math, science and language arts.
