Christopher, a boy with autism, sets out to figure out who killed a neighbor's dog. While this seems a noble pursuit, he has trouble dealing with strangers (people in general), and he meets several obstacles including his father. While investigating the death of the dog, he discovers several other mysteries that he wasn't aware of in his life. Told completely from Christopher's point of view, the story was a bit rambling and side tracked into Christopher's subjects of interest; this added the re

A book I read for school. This book was a fast book to read. I loved the humor and the mystery in this. I also love the main character, he is so unique and super funny.

I know the father told her to leave and not come back but this is your child you are talking about. With his autism the lies and abandonment are such a tough issue, C

Powerful and emotional; rang a lot of bells for me as a depiction of the impact on a child of a marriage break-up. Funny and upsetting, but always compelling.
